Description

Platforms: Nintendo Switch 1 & 2
Role: Generalist Developer

I'm part of the core development team responsible for the Nintendo Switch versions of the project, contributing across gameplay systems, optimization, and tooling. My work has focused on bringing a smooth and feature-complete experience to the platform through:

  • Implementation of UI, UX, menu logic and in-game HUD, ensuring visual consistency. good code and performance efficiency.

  • Comprehensive optimization of the application, reducing memory usage from 3.5 GB to 900 MB, improving performance from an average of 24 FPS to a stable 60 FPS, and implementing asset streaming and on-demand loading using Addressables.

  • Development of custom editor tools to accelerate workflows, particularly for integrating new songs and content packs.

  • Co-development of Local Multiplayer, ensuring synchronization and stability across multiple players.

  • Refactoring of core game subsystems with dependency injection to enhance maintainability, modularity, and clarity of the codebase.

  • Full multi-language support, ensuring seamless localization across all game interfaces.

I’ve worked closely with the creative director and the art, UI/UX, and audio teams to translate design ideas into polished, high-performance gameplay experiences on Nintendo Switch.
